Abstract
Mr. Palagummi Sainath is a passionate journalist who reports ‘rural stories’ by photographing and listening to the people in impoverished villages in India which goes through turbulent changes. Based in the NGO ‘People’s Archive of Rural India (PARI)’he develops the digital journalism to document people’s memories and experiences with his young co-journalists. During the repeated lockdowns of society since last year, they have been continuing to provide the valued and grassroots information. Mr. Sainath will speak about the activities of ‘People’s Archive of Rural India (PARI)’ which is made out of people’s experiences transformed into words to be handed down through future generations.
